2. Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use our website:

• Contact form submissions (name, email, company, message) -- to respond to your inquiry.
• Usage analytics (page views, referrer, device type) -- to improve our website. We use PostHog, which can be configured to anonymize IP addresses.
• Performance analytics (page load times, web vitals, navigation paths) -- to monitor site performance. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which collect anonymized data without cookies.
• Error tracking data (browser, OS, stack traces) -- to fix bugs. We use Sentry, which does not track personal data.
• AI chat messages -- when you use our chat widget, your messages are sent to Google Gemini via Vercel AI Gateway for processing. Messages are not stored beyond the active browser session.
• WP Health Report -- when you use this tool, the URL you provide is sent to the Google PageSpeed Insights API for performance analysis. No personal data is transmitted.

3. Legal Basis

We process your data based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) for contact form submissions, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for analytics, performance monitoring, and error tracking, and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for AI chat interactions. You can object to analytics processing at any time.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with processors who act on our behalf:

• Vercel (hosting, analytics, speed insights, AI gateway) -- USA, GDPR-compliant
• Resend (email delivery) -- USA, GDPR-compliant
• PostHog (product analytics) -- EU/USA, GDPR-compliant
• Sentry (error tracking) -- USA, GDPR-compliant
• Google (Gemini AI model for chat, PageSpeed Insights API for health reports) -- USA, GDPR-compliant

5. Data Retention

Contact form data is retained for 12 months after your last interaction, then deleted. Analytics data is retained for 24 months. AI chat messages are not persisted beyond the active browser session. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection. To exercise these rights, email us at mail@webvise.io.

7. Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights operate without cookies. PostHog analytics is cookie-free where possible.

8. External Links

Our website contains links to external services such as Cal.com (scheduling). When you follow these links, you leave our website and the respective provider's privacy policy applies. We do not transmit personal data to these services.
